About the Event
Design and create a bronze sculpture with noted Northwest sculpture artist Jeff Day.
Noted Northwest sculptor Jeff Day leads participants through the “Lost Wax” process of bronze casting. Class members will be shown how to use sculpture wax medium to form an original piece suitable for casting. Once the wax pieces are cast and back from Two Ravens Foundry, in Tacoma, the workshop resumes for participants to finish and mount their own bronze sculpture.
This two-day event will take place on July 17 and 18 from 10 AM to 4 PM at Cloudstone Sculpture Park on Whidbey Island and conclude on August 5.
Course fee: $350 for the three-day workshop.
